Turners Tool Cart- |

Montana-Designs is pleased to introduce to the wood turning community the all new TOOL CART. The design of the cart enables the turner to have tooling readily available at the lathe in a convenient sturdy movable cart. The cart also functions as a workstation with sliding adjustable shelves and a large swing table with integral tool stops. We encourage the builder to customize the standard kit. A innovative feature of the kit was borrowed from the model airplane kit industry to reduce costs. All the small parts are contained on two separate carrier boards and it is a simple matter to remove the parts and sand flush the web attach points. It’s quick and easy. |

| The
"standart" kit contains all parts to construct the tool cart
with the exception of PVC tubing, Glue, Wood Screws (all other fasteners
are provided) and material to apply a finish to the cart. (sand paper,
urethane etc.) |

We think the ultimate tool cart should provide power, vacuum source, ventilation, lighting as well as storage of all the tooling in support of your artistic endeavors. We couldn’t include everything in the standard kit but we think we have provided pathways by anticipating these requirements during the design of the cart. |

Vacuum Pump Installation - |

| Not
everyone needs the full complement of tool locations that the standard kit
offers. For those that would like to mount a vacuum pump we suggest that
you use the bottom turret board as a template and fabricate a shelf as shown
below. If you need additional tool storage for those really big tools you can side mount tool tubes on either side or back of the cart |

Add Power to your Cart - |

| Integrate all power into the tool cart so you have only one power cord to trip over by installing a power panel between the rear wheels. Use the power panel to control/distribute power for lights, ventilation, vacuum and/or power outlets. | |||||||||

Accessory Poles - |

| The tool cart has two mini-turrets located on the top surface, these turrets pivot on poles (builder provided) that can extend to the very bottom of the cart thus allowing the builder to bring power from the "Power Panel" up to a fan/light fixture. |
